Activity

Citizens’ Initiative

Rahvaalgatus.ee is a citizen initiative platform that connects the citizenry, the parlament and local governments and enables people to implement their right to make collective proposals conveniently. The notable success story of e-democracy has increased the participation of the Estonian people in issues related to national and local life, made political decision-making processes more transparent and dialogue more open.

Culture of deliberation

Fostering a culture of deliberation and cultivating meaningful dialogue between people, groups and organisations are essential steps to creating a mentally resilient society, improving the living environment, and bolstering democracy. The Estonian Cooperation Assembly aims to promote dialogue and conflict resolution skills within the public sector and contribute to civic education in this field.

Science-based policy making

The Estonian Human Development Report (EIA) is a biennially published collection of articles reflecting and interpreting the current socioeconomic situation in Estonia and possible future developments. Produced as a collaboration involving acclaimed scientists and experts, the in-depth reports contribute to knowledge-based perspectives and policymaking and help make research accessible to the general public.

Cooperation initiates change!

Together with our cooperation network and strategic partners, we raise issues that have a long-term impact on society and promote cross-sectoral cooperation in order to initiate change.
